M.B. NEWS 04/19/06 - The band started practicing about 5 weeks ago after an 18 month hiatus. For better or worse, we've all changed quite a bit over the last 2 years. Since then, we found a new practice place, bought a PA, and have been sifting through our songs to sort them out. We've been working on originals and are primarily concentrating on writing. We'll learn and play some new and old covers, but we'd trying to become more than a cover band. I just realized I have no fucking idea what that even means. See ya this summer. 11/26/04 I never got back to the editor to update the site but, as I'm sure you've heard, we are NOT playing tomorrow night in Geneva. I had another wrist flare up and it set us back once again. New policy is we all have to be comfortable with what we're doing and not all three of us were, so we'll see you on the 18th of December instead! Make sure you come check us out and see Joey sing all the songs for the first time in his life. 10/14/04 It's been a long bumpy ride the last few months. Lives change, but everything has come full circle. We've been working on some new covers and some new ideas for originals that will make you jump around like before. Joe has assumed all lead vocal duties, while Brent continues to sing back-up for us. Adam continues to fill in for Shmae. Steve has been busy working an extra job, and fantasy football is also very time consuming! We can't express how sorely Jason will be missed, but maybe Mr. Justice will be nice someday and allow the Boneyard to reconvene. We're going to play at Jellybeans for the G Town Throwdown on 11/17 with many other local bands and hope to see you there. Everyone will get a 40 minute set, the way it should be. Peace. 06/28/04 Canalfest was pretty fun for us as a whole. I think the weekend tired us out, we'll be at Wylie's on 7/9 with Skull. Thanks to Jessica for making a dull Sunday nice and shiny. 06/01/04
The Flats show was great. We had a really good time and hope you did
too. Now it's time to check out the tape and see who screwed up the
most. :) See ya at Canalfest...
04/21/04 We had a wonderful time last weekend at the Flats, thanks to everyone who came. It was great to be back playing out and the originals seems to fit in well with the other stuff. See ya at Wylie's and we promise to lay off the booze a little this time. We'll be going into the studio on May 8th to record our originals which should result in a yet to be titled EP. We may possibly include a cover song. 03/11/04 If you are interested in making a few bucks and drinking free beer at Red's on 6/18, we're looking for two honest people to work the door for us. Ask one of us when you see us if you're interested... 03/04/04 Well, it looks like we finally wrote some originals that will be ready for April. Song titles include "See It Coming" and "Breakdancin' In the Pit". We're all enjoying not having to lug stuff around in subzero weather. See you on the 16th.
Love, 02/07/04 After two weekend's playing for rednecks and an empty club, Wylie's was actually a really good show! No equipment was broken for a change. Thanks to Bill & Allison for taking some pictures and videotaping. Thanks to Amus and Freddie at Wylie's. Their courtesy and hospitality is unmatched in terms of bar owners in the area. Thanks to Joe Uticone for starting of the evening for us. Also, thanks to everyone else who came out, especially the Seneca Falls Crew: You guys rule. We sincerely appreciated the crowd participation. It was great to see people jumping around, that's the way it should be. We'll be taking a little break because this weather is ridiculous and we're sick of driving in it. We'll be playing sometime in the Finger Lakes in mid to late April with a revamped batch of songs. We'll be playing Canalfest in Seneca Falls the third weekend in June at a location TBA... Thanks again guys..... 02/01/04 Thanks to Shmae and Planet 505 for having us up for a show. Everyone drove through a shitty snow storm last night. We are really looking forward to Wylie's next week after a couple of shows where weather affected attendance. This week's casualty? Joe's C.C. Deville guitar fell off an unbalanced stand during a jump around. The head stock cracked off. Total band operating losses
for 03-04: $2,482.89 :) Happy Holiday's from the Muggsy's Boneyard camp. We have a few shows coming up, check the page for more details. Jay and McKenzie are expected a beautiful baby girl sometime in May. As soon as they say the word, the band will be taking a break for as long as they say..... maybe forever! :) In the meantime, come to the gigs. We appreciate everyone who continues to come support us when we play out. |
